I can tell it's spring, because I've stopped getting favorites on my snow flake photos every day. Also the snow is gone. In other news, I got a new camera, and 3 new lenses, and also another new camera that I need to sell! And I found out that my Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 is broken, and finally sent it in to get fixed. It'll cost $200, but that's worth it considering it sells new at B&H for $500 now. I'm also selling my half broken K20D with the 28mm f2.8 lens I got for $25, for $125 to Alyssa, whose dA name I forget now.
Once I get the lens back, and sell the camera and other lens, I'll have:
Pentax K5 dpreview.com/products/pentax/s…
Pentax K7 dpreview.com/products/pentax/s… (which I gotta sell)
Pentax MF 50mm A f1.7 www.pentaxforums.com/lensrevie…
Vivitar MF 100mm f2.8 1:1 macro (the vast majority of my photos are taken with this one)
Tamron AF 28-75mm f2.8
Pentax AF (SDM, weather sealed) DA* 50-135mm f2.8 www.pentaxforums.com/lensrevie…
Sigma AF (HSM) 70-200mm f2.8 www.pentaxforums.com/userrevie…
I should really sell at least one of those lenses too, since it's really just too much money for me to have invested in cameras, and there's a lot of coverage overlap in those zooms (the middle one is completely covered by the other two). They all have their pros and cons though, so it's hard to decide which.
Anyway, maybe I'll post some new photos soon - I better start taking some with all this new equipment!

Watchlist Overload
A while ago I started watching #true-macro, and for a while it was cool, because there's a lot of awesome macro photos in there... But my backlog gradually built up, and then suddenly, there were around 100 more to look at in a couple days! Being daunted by so much to look at, I put it off. Now I'm up to 442 deviations total, and I think I need to just unwatch #true-macro, forget about looking at all those photos, and just catch up on the individual people I watch.
I know 442 doesn't sound that high to some people, but I like to actually give everything a good look and see if I have anything to say about it; I rarely favorite anything, but I
Frogatto 1.0 released!
After over 2 years, Frogatto finally has its first official release! I didn't do a whole lot of the actual making of the game myself, but I did a lot of other necessary things - making the website http://www.frogatto.com , making builds for Mac and Windows, and the biggest thing: making the game work on the iPhone/iPod, which we submitted it to the App Store for last night! :D
New Website
After 2 years of extremely intermittent work and indecision, I have finally finished my new website, and put it up; behold! http://www.happyspork.com/
Woohoo, 10k pageviews!
I just noticed, I broke the 10k pageview mark! Woohoo! Also, it's been over a year since my last journal update. The last one was about how I got a new harddrive, which broke since then (after under a year), and I had to get it replaced.
Not much else to say. Hopefully this spring I'll take more pictures. Today I noticed the crocuses are already blooming - about 3 weeks earlier than normal. The wind was infuriatingly bad though, so I probably didn't get any very good pictures.
